Sandpiper Surf is a newly remodeled, single story, two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home situated steps from Nehalem Bay State Park in Manzanita, Oregon. The beach is only a short six-minute walk from the house, and it’s just a twenty-minute walk or five-minute bike ride to town. Bring the dog and enjoy all the scenery on your walk into town for shopping, coffee, and more. This home is perfect for one small family or two couples wanting to get away for a memorable beach retreat.

Stepping through the front door, you will feel right at home with the open floor plan, cozy wood stove, and sectional sofa that converts to a queen-sized hide-a-bed. The recent update for this home includes new floors and furnishings that reflect modern beach decor. The dining table can seat eight with the leaf inserted and is open to the newly remodeled kitchen. The well-stocked kitchen has beautiful quartz slab countertops, unique acrylic drawer pulls and cupboard knobs, and absolutely everything you'll need to prepare a delicious meal.

Nearby is the upgraded hall bathroom with a tub/shower and large vanity. Beyond the bathroom is the first queen bedroom with a large closet and dresser. Just off the kitchen area there's a room with a twin-size daybed, TV, and attached half bath. This would be an excellent area for the kids to hang out and watch a movie while the adults are cooking. Separated from this room by a door, the primary bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed with a large en-suite bathroom with double sinks. You'll love the spacious walk-in shower! The primary bedroom faces the back of the house and has a sliding glass door that opens to a beautiful stamped concrete patio with a hot tub, seating area, and gas fire pit. Enjoy a soak in the hot tub after a long day at the beach and then tell stories around the fire pit with a dazzling Oregon Coast sunset as your backdrop.

If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.

You agree to the following terms upon booking, which confirms that you have read the house rules, accept responsibility and conditions, and fully understand its content. Cancellations/Super Strict 30-Day Policy and Rules: - For a 50% refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made 30 days before 4:00 pm of the check-in date. - Changing reservation dates is only permitted up to 45 days before arrival. All date changes are subject to a $125 fee. - If you are within 45 days of arrival, dates cannot be moved. - No refunds for a shortened stay. - If there is a complaint from your party, notice must be given within 24 hours of check-in. Good Person Policy: We kindly ask that you treat this home respectfully. Please be a good neighbor, as you are staying in a town full of long-term residents. Park on our property only unless we instruct you otherwise. Please stay within the car, and the people limit we set in our prior correspondence with you. Arrival and Departure Day: Please follow the check-in and check-out instructions on your pre-arrival that are sent via email 3 days before your stay. Furnishings: Our homes are fully furnished and include all linens, including beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, bar soap, kleenex, foil, saran wrap, salt, and pepper. Also included are essential cookware, utensils, a 12-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, propane for BBQ and firepits, etc. You must provide toiletries, napkins, and paper/picnic goods. (Please do not take bath linens down to the beach.) Check-In/Check-out: Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, we can only grant this on the day of arrival or departure based on the schedule for the house. This will only be available October-May and is subject to availability. Additional fees may apply. Please speak with your reservation specialist for details. Please check out promptly, as we must prepare the house for the next guests. Unless approved beforehand, late check-outs will be subject to a fee of $50 for every 15 minutes past check-out time. Quiet Hours: Manzanita City Ordinance states the quiet times are from 10pm to 7am. If a call is made to MBG for a noise complaint by a neighbor, you may be subject to eviction without a refund if guests do not remedy this asap. Please be courteous to your neighbors that live in the area full-time. Please be mindful of noise outside and around hot tubs, etc. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful. Thank you. Occupant and Car Parking Limits: The city ordinances dictate the occupancy and parking policies to control noise and congestion in our neighborhoods and maintain the livability of our neighborhoods. According to our city/county permits, tents are not allowed, and any trailers, RVs, or campers must not be occupied or used while parked at the homes. The occupancy limit of each home may not be exceeded at any time. This means total occupancy includes non-occupant visitors. If you anticipate visitors dropping by, we ask you to rent a larger home. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental fees. This home has a 3 car limit and a 6 person occupancy limit. Pet Policies: Limit 1 dog to this home (unless otherwise arranged). We do not allow dog under the age of 2 years old. Dogs must never be left unattended at any time inside or outside the property. No cats or any other animals are permitted. We require dog to be flea treated at least a week before the arrival date unless they are already on a monthly, year-round regimen. The dog is not allowed on furniture or bedding. All dog waste must be picked up before leaving the premises. If extensive cleaning inside or out, digging, or destruction to the outside of the property is required because of the dog, or if animals are found to have been present in a home that does not allow them, additional money will be requested based on an hourly rate determined by MBG. Departure Instructions: We ask that you put all dirty laundry in a pile by the washer and start at least one load before departure. (Please start with the towels). Please start the dishwasher before departing. Remove all garbage to the outside cans provided. Please follow any other departure instructions specific to the home you rented. You will find these on the picture frame located in the house. Smoking: No homes allow smoking, including vaping or marijuana. Smoking is not allowed in or on the property at any time. If any smoking has happened on the property, a claim will be filed, and MBG will determine the cost based on cleaning charges. Minimum Stay: All homes have a two-night minimum with a few exceptions. A six-night minimum on reservations during July and August. Four-night minimum during the last two weeks of June. There is a three-night reservation minimum for Memorial weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Gaps in between stays can be reserved with approval by MBG staff. Date availability can change at any time. Refunds, Rules, and Disclaimers: No refunds will be issued due to weather, off-premise noise caused by construction near the home, or mechanical failure. We rent our vacation homes to adults only over the age of 23. No parties are allowed. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. All prices on unconfirmed reservations are subject to change without notice. Our homes are individually owned, and amenities are subject to change at any time—no refunds or discounts for appliance malfunction or amenity changes. Liability: This agreement dictates that guests or visitors of guests will not hold Manzanita Beach Getaway or any of the homeowners responsible for things such as Personal injury, death, or loss of property. Transfer: Rental reservations are non-transferable to another party. IF THE HOME YOU RENTED HAS A HOT TUB, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CLOSELY: Hot Tub: BATHING TIMES ARE FROM 8AM TO 10PM. ● Always shower before entering the spa. All lotions, perfume, shampoo’s etc must be rinsed off the body. ● Children/Adults MUST use the bathroom before entering the spa. ● Children are not to be left unattended, EVER ● NO Sunscreen, lotions, oils, bubbles, hair products, food, gum (these cause foaming in the spa). ● NO Smoking or drinking alcohol in the hot tub. ● NO jumping or diving into the water. ● NO PETS, NO TOYS, water wings are ok. ● NO SAND, it will damage the filter system, nothing from the beach! ● NO Ocean swimsuits as they are full of sand and salt. ● Best to use the spa for 15 minutes, then cool off before re-entry. ● People with cuts or external infections should not use the spa. ● Do not sit, stand or lie down on the Spa Cover. ● Enjoy the spa at your own Health Risk, MBG takes no responsibility. ● lf spa is found to be excessively dirty upon your departure, a dump and cleaning fee will be charged of $150.00. ● lf the spa, spa cover, locks, straps or lift is damaged during your stay, you will be responsible for paying to replace these items. ● lf buttons are pushed excessively and we have to reset the spa, there will be a $50 fee. Adjusting the temperature is fine but please put it back to the 102 degree setting before departing.
