Are you looking for a house large enough for the entire family? Our Happy Place features four bedrooms (5 sleeping areas) and 3.5 baths with ocean views. You will find all you need in this lovely Manzanita vacation rental located in a quiet neighborhood on the north side of Manzanita, with a short 2-block walk to town and a 10-minute walk to the beach.

Our Happy Place is well appointed with a large open kitchen, living, and dining room. With a reversed floor plan, the house offers beautiful views of the ocean and the lovely town of Manzanita. The living room has a cozy couch and a touch of elegance with live-edge wood coffee and end tables. The large flat-screen TV with cable and Blu-ray player is excellent entertainment for the whole family. Start a fire in the lovely wood stove while cooking in the massive, fully equipped kitchen. The main dining table seats up to 8. A secondary table gives the kids a space to eat with up to 4 more seats. Just off the living/dining room is a door that leads you to the spacious deck to enjoy a lovely sunset over the ocean.

On the main level of the house, you will find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed, the second room is a pleasant room with a double-size bed, and the third bedroom on this level is the primary bedroom with a California king bed and ensuite bathroom. The primary bathroom offers a large jetted tub for a long soak after a fabulous beach day. Enjoy ultimate relaxation with lavender bath salts and candles that are supplied.

Outside, down the stairs, and through the laundry room, you will find the 4th bedroom. Great for teens or couples with kids wanting separation from the house. The bedroom has two twin beds and an opening to another room with a full-size bed. Attached to the room is a full bathroom with a shower and tub combination. The nearby garage has a foosball table, gas BBQ, beach toys, and boogie boards for the kids or kids at heart. Bring the family dogs to enjoy the house with dog towels, bowls, and provided toys.

Lastly, the back of the house has a cozy fire pit for those nights you want s'mores and some excellent family storytelling.

No need for a car in Manzanita if you wish to not drive. Everything is very close, including our Little Apple Deli in downtown Manzanita. If you would like to venture out of Manzanita, there is public transportation called "The Wave". The Portland airport is the closest commercial airport to us and its about a 2 hour drive. You can rent a car at the airport or have family/friends bring you out to the coast.

Please read the following policies and procedures carefully. You agree to the following terms upon booking, which confirms that you have read the house rules, accept responsibility and conditions, and fully understand its content. If you have any questions, please call our office or message us on the platform you booked from. Thank you! - Changing reservation dates is only permitted up to 45 days before arrival. All date changes are subject to a $125 fee. - If you are within 45 days of arrival, dates cannot be moved. - No refunds for a shortened stay. - If there is a complaint from your party, notice must be given within 24 hours of check-in. Good Person Policy: We kindly ask that you treat this home respectfully. Please be a good neighbor, as you are staying in a town full of long-term residents. Park on our property only unless we instruct you otherwise. Please stay within the car, and the people limit we set in our prior correspondence with you. Arrival and Departure Day: Please follow the check-in and check-out instructions on your pre-arrival that are sent via email 3 days before your stay. Furnishings: Our homes are fully furnished and include all linens, including beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, bar soap, kleenex, foil, saran wrap, salt, and pepper. Also included are essential cookware, utensils, a 12-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, propane for BBQ and firepits, etc. You must provide toiletries, napkins, and paper/picnic goods. (Please do not take bath linens down to the beach.) Check-In/Check-out: Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 10:00am. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, we can only grant this on the day of arrival or departure based on the schedule for the house. This will only be available October-May and is subject to availability. Additional fees may apply. Please speak with your reservation specialist for details. Please check out promptly, as we must prepare the house for the next guests. Unless approved beforehand, late check-outs will be subject to a fee of $50 for every 15 minutes past check-out time. Quiet Hours: Manzanita City Ordinance states the quiet times are from 10pm to 7am. If a call is made to MBG for a noise complaint by a neighbor, you may be subject to eviction without a refund if guests do not remedy this asap. Please be courteous to your neighbors that live in the area full-time. Please be mindful of noise outside and around hot tubs, etc. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful. Thank you. Occupant and Car Parking Limits: The city ordinances dictate the occupancy and parking policies to control noise and congestion in our neighborhoods and maintain the livability of our neighborhoods. According to our city/county permits, tents are not allowed, and any trailers, RVs, or campers must not be occupied or used while parked at the homes. The occupancy limit of each home may not be exceeded at any time. This means total occupancy includes non-occupant visitors. If you anticipate visitors dropping by, we ask you to rent a larger home. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental fees. This home has a 4 car limit and a 10 person occupancy limit. Pet Policies: Limit 2 dog to this home (unless otherwise arranged). We do not allow dog under the age of 2 years old. Dogs must never be left unattended at any time inside or outside the property. No cats or any other animals are permitted. We require dog to be flea treated at least a week before the arrival date unless they are already on a monthly, year-round regimen. The dog is not allowed on furniture or bedding. All dog waste must be picked up before leaving the premises. If extensive cleaning inside or out, digging, or destruction to the outside of the property is required because of the dog, or if animals are found to have been present in a home that does not allow them, additional money will be requested based on an hourly rate determined by MBG. Departure Instructions: We ask that you put all dirty laundry in a pile by the washer and start at least one load before departure. (Please start with the towels). Please start the dishwasher before departing. Remove all garbage to the outside cans provided. Please follow any other departure instructions specific to the home you rented. You will find these on the picture frame located in the house. Smoking: No homes allow smoking, including vaping or marijuana. Smoking is not allowed in or on the property at any time. If any smoking has happened on the property, a claim will be filed, and MBG will determine the cost based on cleaning charges. Minimum Stay: All homes have a two-night minimum with a few exceptions. A six-night minimum on reservations during July and August. Four-night minimum during the last two weeks of June. There is a three-night reservation minimum for Memorial weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Gaps in between stays can be reserved with approval by MBG staff. Date availability can change at any time. Refunds, Rules, and Disclaimers: No refunds will be issued due to weather, off-premise noise caused by construction near the home, or mechanical failure. We rent our vacation homes to adults only over the age of 23. No parties are allowed. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. All prices on unconfirmed reservations are subject to change without notice. Our homes are individually owned, and amenities are subject to change at any time—no refunds or discounts for appliance malfunction or amenity changes. Liability: This agreement dictates that guests or visitors of guests will not hold Manzanita Beach Getaway or any of the homeowners responsible for things such as Personal injury, death, or loss of property. Transfer: Rental reservations are non-transferable to another party.
