Check-out is 11:00 am. This also means all vehicles off the property. Please be prompt as our crew will arrive shortly after to assure the home is ready for the next guest. Thank you.
Please strip sheets and pillow cases. Leave mattress covers and comforters on beds. Collect all towels and sheets used during your stay and place in a laundry basket in the bunk room. Please Start One Load of Towels in The Washer
Please leave pack n’ play unfolded to be cleaned if used during your stay.
Please empty the fridge/freezer of all your food.
Please load and start the dishwasher before leaving.
Please take all garbage out to the can before departing.
Please take all recycling with you or to Manzanita Transfer Station in Manzanita. (directions in binder). The city of Manzanita does not have curbside recycling.
Please turn all heaters down to 50 degrees, please make sure the house is secure and that all windows and doors are locked.
Doggy bags are provided for you to pick up after your pet outside.

Neighborhood
Ahoy Matey is located on a quiet residential street. You are far enough from town to experience peace, but still only a 5 minute walk to get coffee and shop. Also a very quick walk down the road to the beach!

Enjoy this charming three-bedroom house! Our warm and cozy three-bedroom, two-bath beach house has a cabin-like feel and is perfect for your next escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just a five-minute walk to the beach and under ten minutes to downtown Manzanita, Ahoy Matey is comfortably furnished with everything you need for a relaxing getaway at the beach.
Entering the home from the side porch, you step into the open floor plan with comfortable sofas arranged around a beautiful, built-in gas fireplace, a well-stocked kitchen, and a spacious dining area with seating for six. There is additional seating for three at the kitchen counter. The kitchen is well equipped with cookware, utensils, and other small appliances you may need to enjoy a family meal.
The hallway has a stacked washer and dryer for your convenience. There are three bedrooms, all located downstairs. Two bedrooms have queen beds, and the third bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed. Near the bedrooms are a full bathroom with a shower and tub combo.
Upstairs this home has a loft with a queen sized futon and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, providing even more space for your family to spread out. We have a TV with plenty of movies, a DVD player, and a Roku for streaming your favorites. Challenge the family to play one of the many fun games in the house when you're not out enjoying all Manzanita has to offer!
During warmer weather, head outside to the chairs provided to relax on the deck, with easy access to the front door, which allows Barbecuing to be a breeze. Enjoy this immaculate home for your Oregon Coast Vacation!

If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.

Please read the following policies and procedures carefully. You agree to the following terms upon booking, which confirms that you have read the house rules, accept responsibility and conditions, and fully understand its content. If you have any questions, please call our office or message us on Airbnb. Thank you!
Cancellations/Super Strict 30-Day Policy and Rules:
- For a 50% refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made 30 days before 4:00 pm of the check-in date.
- Changing reservation dates is only permitted up to 45 days before arrival. All date changes are subject to a $125 fee.
- If you are within 45 days of arrival, dates cannot be moved.
- No refunds for a shortened stay.
- If there is a complaint from your party, notice must be given within 24 hours of check-in.
Good Person Policy: We kindly ask that you treat this home respectfully. Please be a good neighbor, as you are staying in a town full of long-term residents. Park on our property only unless we instruct you otherwise. Please stay within the car, and the people limit we set in our prior correspondence with you.
Arrival and Departure Day: Please follow the check-in and check-out instructions on your pre-arrival that are sent via email 3 days before your stay.
Furnishings: Our homes are fully furnished and include all linens, including beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, bar soap, kleenex, foil, saran wrap, salt, and pepper. Also included are essential cookware, utensils, a 12-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, propane for BBQ and firepits, etc. You must provide toiletries, napkins, and paper/picnic goods. (Please do not take bath linens down to the beach.)
Check-In/Check-out:
Check-in time is 4:00pm.
Check-out time is 11:00am.
If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, we can only grant this on the day of arrival or departure based on the schedule for the house. This will only be available October-May and is subject to availability. Additional fees may apply. Please speak with your reservation specialist for details. Please check out promptly, as we must prepare the house for the next guests. Unless approved beforehand, late check-outs will be subject to a fee of $50 for every 15 minutes past check-out time.
Quiet Hours: Manzanita City Ordinance states the quiet times are from 10pm to 7am. If a call is made to MBG for a noise complaint by a neighbor, you may be subject to eviction without a refund if guests do not remedy this asap. Please be courteous to your neighbors that live in the area full-time. Please be mindful of noise outside and around hot tubs, etc. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful. Thank you.
Occupant and Car Parking Limits: The city ordinances dictate the occupancy and parking policies to control noise and congestion in our neighborhoods and maintain the livability of our neighborhoods. According to our city/county permits, tents are not allowed, and any trailers, RVs, or campers must not be occupied or used while parked at the homes. The occupancy limit of each home may not be exceeded at any time. This means total occupancy includes non-occupant visitors. If you anticipate visitors dropping by, we ask you to rent a larger home. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental fees. This home has a 3 car limit and a 8 person occupancy limit (Max 6 adults).
Pet Policies: Limit 1 dog to this home (unless otherwise arranged). We do not allow dog under the age of 2 years old. No cats or any other animals are permitted. We require dog to be flea treated at least a week before the arrival date unless they are already on a monthly, year-round regimen. The dog is not allowed on furniture or bedding. All dog waste must be picked up before leaving the premises. If extensive cleaning inside or out, digging, or destruction to the outside of the property is required because of the dog, or if animals are found to have been present in a home that does not allow them, additional money will be requested based on an hourly rate determined by MBG.
Departure Instructions: We ask that you put all dirty laundry in a pile by the washer and start at least one load before departure. (Please start with the towels). Please start the dishwasher before departing. Remove all garbage to the outside cans provided. Please follow any other departure instructions specific to the home you rented. You will find these on the picture frame located in the house.
Smoking: No homes allow smoking, including vaping or marijuana. Smoking is not allowed in or on the property at any time. If any smoking has happened on the property, a claim will be filed, and MBG will determine the cost based on cleaning charges.
Minimum Stay: All homes have a two-night minimum with a few exceptions. A six-night minimum on reservations during July and August. Four-night minimum during the last two weeks of June. There is a three-night reservation minimum for Memorial weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Gaps in between stays can be reserved with approval by MBG staff. Date availability can change at any time.
Refunds, Rules, and Disclaimers: No refunds will be issued due to weather, off-premise noise caused by construction near the home, or mechanical failure. We rent our vacation homes to adults only over the age of 23. No parties are allowed. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. All prices on unconfirmed reservations are subject to change without notice. Our homes are individually owned, and amenities are subject to change at any time—no refunds or discounts for appliance malfunction or amenity changes.
Liability: This agreement dictates that guests or visitors of guests will not hold Manzanita Beach Getaway or any of the homeowners responsible for things such as Personal injury, death, or loss of property.
Transfer: Rental reservations are non-transferable to another party.
