The Lookout is located on the north end of Manzanita. The home is situated on a large lot that allows for a long driveway. Lots of trees and a peak of the ocean from upstairs. Town and the beach are less than an 8 minute walk.

This home is an easy walk to the beach and town. Fly kites, rent sand bikes, or bring your kite board and go kite surfing. Look for outdoor treasures, or relax on the sofa with a good book. Downtown is just a short walk away, offering fine dining and shopping options galore.

This home has a bright and sunny feel with beautiful wood floors and lots of light! The reverse open floor plan and large windows create a spacious vibe, and the living room is relaxed and inviting. Stretch out on the comfortable couch, watch the flat-screen cable TV with a DVD player, or get cozy near the gas-burning fireplace. The kitchen is perfect for preparing a delectable meal, with stainless steel appliances and ample cupboard/counter space! There's room for up to eight people at the dining table and seating for two at the kitchen bar to share a delectable meal. Step outside onto the deck and soak up a view of the ocean while you BBQ on the gas grill.

This home features three good sized bedrooms. The first-floor bedroom has two queen beds, a flat-screen TV, and an Xbox game system. One bedroom upstairs has a queen bed next to a full bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The primary bedroom has a king bed with access to the deck facing the ocean. The impressive primary bathroom has a full shower and a luxurious jetted tub.

The garage even offers a ping pong table and a dart board. Bring out the beverages and put them into the mini-fridge. There are 4 bikes for guest use (not to be used on the beach), a couple of beach chairs, and some sand toys.

There are many things to do near this lovely house. Manzanita is an adorable coastal town with many restaurants, bars, and boutiques - tee off at Manzanita Golf Course or find your Zen at Yoga Roots Studio. With the beautiful Pacific Ocean at your fingertips, you could spend your whole day basking in the sun or enjoying the surf. Rent a standup paddle board or kayak to ride the waves, or plan a hiking trek up Neahkahnie Mountain, offering magnificent views of Nehalem Bay!

If you`re staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car, but if you are wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.

• Additional: Please read the following policies and procedures carefully. If you have any questions, please call our office. Please note: Guests will be required to call our office to confirm each reservation verbally. We require a signed electronic rental agreement for every booking. This will be emailed to you shortly after your booking is made. Thank you. Cancellations: 50% refund if outside of 31 days from your arrival. No refund if within 30 days from your arrival day. If needing to switch dates, that has to be done outside of 45 days from your stay. No refunds for a shortened stay. Alteration of Reservation: Any change to a reservation is subject to a $125 change fee unless request is made within 24 hours of original booking. No refunds for shorter stays when altering an existing reservation. Good Person Policy: We kindly ask that you treat this home with respect. Please be a good neighbor as you are staying in a town full of long term residents. Park on our property only unless we instruct you otherwise. Do not exceed the car or people limit we have set in our correspondence with you. Cleaning: We kindly ask that you put all dirty laundry in a pile by the washer and start one load of towels.. Please leave the house and kitchen tidy. Wash and put away all dishes. If there is a dishwasher, we ask that you please start it before departing. Remove all garbage to the outside cans provided. If excessive cleaning is determined to be needed by Manzanita Beach Getaway, we have the right to charge your card for the additional time it takes to clean at $45 an hour. If there is excessive garbage we charge $7 per bag. Please do not put cardboard boxes in the can as it takes up all the room. Furnishings: Our homes are fully furnished and include all linens, bath towels, dish towels, and hand towels as well as toilet paper and paper towels. Basic cookware, utensils, coffee maker, and toaster are all provided. You will need to provide your own, toiletries, napkins, paper/picnic goods, and beach towels. (Please do not take home linens down to the beach at any time, unless designated towels are marked for "beach") Check-In/Check-out: Check in time is 4:00 p.m. Check out is 11 a.m. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, we are happy to grant this if it is possible. Please speak with your reservation specialist for details. This will only be available October-May. Please check out promptly as we must prepare the house for the next renter. If we must wait 15 minutes or more for your departure, you will be charged a $50 late check-out fee per 15 minutes. Occupant and Car Parking Limits: The occupancy and parking policies are dictated by the city ordinances to control noise and congestion of our neighborhoods as well as maintain the quality of our properties. To maintain our rental permits we cannot allow RV`s and campers, trailers or tents at the homes and the occupancy limit of each home may not be exceeded at anytime. This means total occupancy includes non-occupant visitors. If you anticipate having visitors drop by, we ask that you rent a larger home. Violation of this rule is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental fees. The occupancy limit for this home is 10 (8 adults max) and parking for 4 vehicles. Minimum Stay: All homes have a two-night minimum with a few exceptions; Six night minimum on reservations during July and August. Four night minimum during the last 2 weeks of June.  Three night minimum on reservations for Memorial weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Dog Policies: Limit 2 dogs. No cats allowed. Dog must be 2 years of age or older,  flea treated at least a week before arrival and/or be on a monthly year round flea treatment regimen. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Do not leave dogs unattended in or outside of the home at any time.  All pet waste must be picked up prior to departure, If extensive cleaning inside or out, digging or destruction to the property is done by pets, your card on file will be charged at costs determined by Manzanita Beach Getaway based on time and repair cost. Smoking: We have no homes that allow smoking. Violators of this policy will be subject to an additional cleaning fee determined by Manzanita Beach Getaway Rentals. This includes the pick up and disposal of cigarette butts found outside on the ground.  Refunds, Rules and Disclaimers: No refunds will be issued due to weather or mechanical failure. (such as appliance breakdown, etc).We reserve the right to refuse renting to anyone. We rent our vacation homes to adults only, 23 or older. No teen or college parties allowed. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without refund. All prices are subject to change without notice. Transfer: Rental Agreements are non-transferable to another party.
