We want your arrival to be as easy and seamless as possible. After booking, you’ll receive a short Rental Agreement from our local management team to review and sign electronically before your stay. This quick step helps us make sure everything is in place for your arrival while protecting you, the home, and the homeowners who make your stay possible.

Manzanita is a small, friendly village 23 miles south of Seaside and 25 miles north of Tillamook. The town is known for its beautiful seven-mile stretch of beach with views of Neahkahnie Mountain, wonderful shops, and friendly people.

Guests have access to the entire house.

Aptly named, Stone’s Throw is the perfect place to spread out and enjoy time with loved ones as close to the beach as you can get. The unobstructed view from the second-story West-facing deck may distract your group for a moment, but we’re sure you’ll find the interior equally as impressive! With an expansive, open floor plan and many modern updates, this quintessential Manzanita Beach house also has a rich history. The ideal mix of old and new, this charming two-story property has six spacious bedrooms (sleeps 15 adults MAX), three full bathrooms, luxury vinyl floors, two separate living rooms with flat-screen TVs, a huge cook’s kitchen with all the comforts of home, and much, much more.

An immense custom-built banquet table will invite the entire family to dine together with the Pacific as your backdrop. Open the wide sliding glass doors to expand this space further and let the damp, salty air drift in while you eat. Clean-up will feel like no trouble at all in the massive kitchen with stainless steel appliances and storage galore. With ample room for everyone to stay and help out, the whole group can take on a chore.
The lower level of the house has a kitchenette area with a full sink, a drop-leaf table with seating for 4, and a huge closet full of games and puzzles. One double queen bedroom and a full bathroom are also located on this floor.
Peruse the homeowner’s vast book collection to find the perfect read on a rainy day. Cozy up in the second-story window seat overlooking the surf and maybe catch a whale spout far off in the distance.
When the magical phosphorescence is out, go “star stomping” with the family after dark to make lifelong memories. The kids will be telling the stories of Manzanita Beach for years to come. Head inside for a warm cup of cocoa or tea and send the younguns downstairs to begin the foosball tournament while the adults enjoy a soak in the hot tub. With generous and thoughtful details such as stained glass touches, plush throw pillows, and plenty of lighting, you’ll feel a sense of timelessness at Stone’s Throw. Light a roaring fire in the grand slate fireplace, pop a movie into the DVD player, or stream your favorite show before falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning while relaxing under cover just outside the back kitchen slider, and watch the mist roll in while you ponder how to spend your day. With seven miles of beach, hiking, fishing, crabbing, rock hounding, delectable dining, and lots of fun shops so close by, this will be the most daunting part of your vacation!

No need for a vehicle while in Manzanita unless you would like to travel to adjacent towns. Everything is walkable.

Please read the following policies and procedures carefully. You agree to the following terms upon booking, which confirms that you have read the house rules, accept responsibility and conditions, and fully understand its content. If you have any questions, please call our office or message us on the platform you booked on. Thank you! - Changing reservation dates is only permitted up to 30 days before arrival. All date changes are subject to a $125 fee and will be subject to any rate changes. - If you are within 30 days of arrival, dates cannot be moved.  - No refunds for a shortened stay. - If there is a complaint from your party, notice must be given within 24 hours of check-in. Good Person Policy: We kindly ask that you treat this home respectfully. Please be a good neighbor, as you are staying in a town full of long-term residents. Park on our property only unless we instruct you otherwise. Please stay within the car, and the people limit we set in our prior correspondence with you. Arrival and Departure Day: Please follow the check-in and check-out instructions on your pre-arrival that are sent via email 3 days before your stay. Furnishings: Our homes are fully furnished and include all linens, including beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, bar soap, kleenex, foil, saran wrap, salt, and pepper. Also included are essential cookware, utensils, a 12-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, propane for BBQ and firepits, etc. You must provide toiletries, napkins, and paper/picnic goods. (Please do not take bath linens down to the beach.) Check-In/Check-out: Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 10:00am. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, we can only grant this on the day of arrival or departure based on the schedule for the house. This will only be available October-May and is subject to availability. Additional fees may apply. Please speak with your reservation specialist for details. Please check out promptly, as we must prepare the house for the next guests. Unless approved beforehand, late check-outs will be subject to a fee of $50 for every 15 minutes past check-out time. Quiet Hours: Manzanita City Ordinance states the quiet times are from 10pm to 7am. If a call is made to MBG for a noise complaint by a neighbor, you may be subject to eviction without a refund if guests do not remedy this asap. Please be courteous to your neighbors that live in the area full-time. Please be mindful of noise outside and around hot tubs, etc. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful. Thank you. Occupant and Car Parking Limits: The city ordinances dictate the occupancy and parking policies to control noise and congestion in our neighborhoods and maintain the livability of our neighborhoods. According to our city/county permits, tents are not allowed, and any trailers, RVs, or campers must not be occupied or used while parked at the homes. The occupancy limit of each home may not be exceeded at any time. This means total occupancy includes non-occupant visitors. If you anticipate visitors dropping by, we ask you to rent a larger home. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental fees. This home has a 4 car limit if they are smaller vehicles. Tight parking so please plan accordingly and a 16 person occupancy limit. Pet Policies: Limit 2 dog to this home (unless otherwise arranged). We do not allow dog under the age of 2 years old. Dogs must never be left unattended at any time inside or outside the property. No cats or any other animals are permitted. We require dog to be flea treated at least a week before the arrival date unless they are already on a monthly, year-round regimen. The dog is not allowed on furniture or bedding. All dog waste must be picked up before leaving the premises. If extensive cleaning inside or out, digging, or destruction to the outside of the property is required because of the dog, or if animals are found to have been present in a home that does not allow them, additional money will be requested based on an hourly rate determined by MBG. Departure Instructions: Please strip all used beds and leave the linens in a pile near the laundry area. We ask that you put all dirty laundry in a pile by the washer and start at least one load before departure. (Please start with the towels). Please start the dishwasher before departing. Remove all garbage to the outside cans provided. Please follow any other departure instructions specific to the home you rented. You will find these on the picture frame located in the house. Smoking: No homes allow smoking, including vaping or marijuana. Smoking is not allowed in or on the property at any time. If any smoking has happened on the property, a claim will be filed, and MBG will determine the cost based on cleaning charges. Minimum Stay: All homes have a two-night minimum with a few exceptions. A six-night minimum on reservations during July and August. Four-night minimum during the last two weeks of June. There is a three-night reservation minimum for Memorial weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Gaps in between stays can be reserved with approval by MBG staff. Date availability can change at any time. Refunds, Rules, and Disclaimers: No refunds will be issued due to weather, off-premise noise caused by construction near the home, or mechanical failure. We rent our vacation homes to adults only over the age of 23. No parties are allowed. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. All prices on unconfirmed reservations are subject to change without notice. Our homes are individually owned, and amenities are subject to change at any time—no refunds or discounts for appliance malfunction or amenity changes. Liability: This agreement dictates that guests or visitors of guests will not hold Manzanita Beach Getaway or any of the homeowners responsible for things such as Personal injury, death, or loss of property. Transfer: Rental reservations are non-transferable to another party. IF THE HOME YOU RENTED HAS A HOT TUB, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CLOSELY: Hot Tub: BATHING TIMES ARE FROM 8AM TO 10PM. ● Always shower before entering the spa. All lotions, perfume, shampoo’s etc must be rinsed off the body. ● Children/Adults MUST use the bathroom before entering the spa. ● Children are not to be left unattended, EVER ● NO Sunscreen, lotions, oils, bubbles, hair products, food, gum (these cause foaming in the spa). ● NO Smoking or drinking alcohol in the hot tub. ● NO jumping or diving into the water. ● NO PETS, NO TOYS, water wings are ok. ● NO SAND, it will damage the filter system, nothing from the beach! ● NO Ocean swimsuits as they are full of sand and salt. ● Best to use the spa for 15 minutes, then cool off before re-entry. ● People with cuts or external infections should not use the spa. ● Do not sit, stand or lie down on the Spa Cover. ● Enjoy the spa at your own Health Risk, MBG takes no responsibility. ● lf spa is found to be excessively dirty upon your departure, a dump and cleaning fee will be charged of $150.00. ● lf the spa, spa cover, locks, straps or lift is damaged during your stay, you will be responsible for paying to replace these items. ● lf buttons are pushed excessively and we have to reset the spa, there will be a $50 fee. Adjusting the temperature is fine but please put it back to the 102 degree setting before departing. Your booking certifies that you have read this document, accept responsibility and conditions, and fully understand its content. Package Delivery Notice: We kindly ask that guests do not ship packages directly to the home. Manzanita Beach Getaway is not responsible for lost or damaged items. If you need to receive a package during your stay, please contact our office.
