Before You Arrive
We want your arrival to be as easy and seamless as possible. After booking, you’ll receive a short Rental Agreement from our local management team to review and sign electronically before your stay. This quick step helps us make sure everything is in place for your arrival while protecting you, the home, and the homeowners who make your stay possible.

Coastal View is located in North Manzanita, just a block up from the beach! You can walk Ocean Rd that parallels the beach, into town.

Guests will have access to the entire house.

Coastal View is a magnificent four-bedroom, three-bath home situated less than two blocks from the beach in Neahkahnie (North Manzanita). Look no further if you're looking for a home that can offer views, comfort, beauty, and convenience. We guarantee your family will want to come back time and time again.

Surrounded by tall windows that look through the trees to the awe-inspiring Pacific ocean, the home offers incredible views. A wrap-around deck provides ample outdoor space for barbecuing, reading a book, or relaxing. The open layout of the living area makes entertaining a breeze. You will find that the kitchen is spacious and stocked with everything you need to make delicious meals each day. The dining room table seats six, and the bar in the kitchen can seat four more. A large and comfortable "L" shaped couch is a cozy place to snuggle up in the evening and watch a movie on the large flat-screen TV while enjoying the natural stone and gas fireplace.

The main level features two good size bedrooms. The main bedroom is spacious, with a comfortable king bed and an attached spa-like bathroom with a large jetted tub that would be perfect after a long day at the beach. The walk-in shower and double vanities are a bonus. The second bedroom down the hall has a beautiful queen bed and a big window for natural light. A full bath with a walk-in shower is in the hall just to the right of this bedroom.

The two remaining bedrooms, one bathroom, and a laundry room are downstairs. One bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds and a queen bed perfect for kids or teens. This room has a bookshelf full of books and a TV for entertainment. The bedroom down the hall has a queen bed well spaced from the kid's bunk room for peace and quiet. These two downstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub and shower. There is also a laundry room with a mud sink to wash off sandy clothes after an afternoon at the beach.

If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.

Please read the following policies and procedures carefully. You agree to the following terms upon booking, which confirms that you have read the house rules, accept responsibility and conditions, and fully understand its content. If you have any questions, please call our office or message us on the platform you booked on. Thank you! - Changing reservation dates is only permitted up to 30 days before arrival. All date changes are subject to a $125 fee and will be subject to any rate changes. - If you are within 30 days of arrival, dates cannot be moved.  - No refunds for a shortened stay. - If there is a complaint from your party, notice must be given within 24 hours of check-in. Good Person Policy: We kindly ask that you treat this home respectfully. Please be a good neighbor, as you are staying in a town full of long-term residents. Park on our property only unless we instruct you otherwise. Please stay within the car, and the people limit we set in our prior correspondence with you. Arrival and Departure Day: Please follow the check-in and check-out instructions on your pre-arrival that are sent via email 3 days before your stay. Furnishings: Our homes are fully furnished and include all linens, including beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, bar soap, kleenex, foil, saran wrap, salt, and pepper. Also included are essential cookware, utensils, a 12-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, propane for BBQ and firepits, etc. You must provide toiletries, napkins, and paper/picnic goods. (Please do not take bath linens down to the beach.) Check-In/Check-out: Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 10:00am. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, we can only grant this on the day of arrival or departure based on the schedule for the house. This will only be available October-May and is subject to availability. Additional fees may apply. Please speak with your reservation specialist for details. Please check out promptly, as we must prepare the house for the next guests. Unless approved beforehand, late check-outs will be subject to a fee of $50 for every 15 minutes past check-out time. Quiet Hours: Manzanita City Ordinance states the quiet times are from 10pm to 7am. If a call is made to MBG for a noise complaint by a neighbor, you may be subject to eviction without a refund if guests do not remedy this asap. Please be courteous to your neighbors that live in the area full-time. Please be mindful of noise outside and around hot tubs, etc. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful. Thank you. Occupant and Car Parking Limits: The city ordinances dictate the occupancy and parking policies to control noise and congestion in our neighborhoods and maintain the livability of our neighborhoods. According to our city/county permits, tents are not allowed, and any trailers, RVs, or campers must not be occupied or used while parked at the homes. The occupancy limit of each home may not be exceeded at any time. This means total occupancy includes non-occupant visitors. If you anticipate visitors dropping by, we ask you to rent a larger home. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental fees. This home has a 4 car limit and a 12 person (10 max adults) occupancy limit. Pet Policies: Limit 2 dog to this home (unless otherwise arranged). We do not allow dog under the age of 2 years old. Dogs must never be left unattended at any time inside or outside the property. No cats or any other animals are permitted. We require dog to be flea treated at least a week before the arrival date unless they are already on a monthly, year-round regimen. The dog is not allowed on furniture or bedding. All dog waste must be picked up before leaving the premises. If extensive cleaning inside or out, digging, or destruction to the outside of the property is required because of the dog, or if animals are found to have been present in a home that does not allow them, additional money will be requested based on an hourly rate determined by MBG. Departure Instructions: Please strip all used beds and leave the linens in a pile near the laundry area. We ask that you put all dirty laundry in a pile by the washer and start at least one load before departure. (Please start with the towels). Please start the dishwasher before departing. Remove all garbage to the outside cans provided. Please follow any other departure instructions specific to the home you rented. You will find these on the picture frame located in the house. Smoking: No homes allow smoking, including vaping or marijuana. Smoking is not allowed in or on the property at any time. If any smoking has happened on the property, a claim will be filed, and MBG will determine the cost based on cleaning charges. Minimum Stay: All homes have a two-night minimum with a few exceptions. A six-night minimum on reservations during July and August. Four-night minimum during the last two weeks of June. There is a three-night reservation minimum for Memorial weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Gaps in between stays can be reserved with approval by MBG staff. Date availability can change at any time. Refunds, Rules, and Disclaimers: No refunds will be issued due to weather, off-premise noise caused by construction near the home, or mechanical failure. We rent our vacation homes to adults only over the age of 23. No parties are allowed. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. All prices on unconfirmed reservations are subject to change without notice. Our homes are individually owned, and amenities are subject to change at any time—no refunds or discounts for appliance malfunction or amenity changes. Liability: This agreement dictates that guests or visitors of guests will not hold Manzanita Beach Getaway or any of the homeowners responsible for things such as Personal injury, death, or loss of property. Transfer: Rental reservations are non-transferable to another party. Package Delivery Notice: We kindly ask that guests do not ship packages directly to the home. Manzanita Beach Getaway is not responsible for lost or damaged items. If you need to receive a package during your stay, please contact our office.
