Seaview is situated in the quiet neighborhood of Neahkahnie just north of Manzanita. Seaview has an ocean view and all new decor and furnishings. The pristine beach is just a few short blocks away and downtown Manzanita is a walkable mile.

Guests will have access to the whole home, patio and deck. The long driveway along side the unit is not for guest use. Parking for this unit is directly out front and it is possible to park a small boat 2 lots down.

Our magnificent beach is just minutes away, and our cozy little town with shops and restaurants is just over a mile from this vacation rental.

SeaView is simple yet comfortable, with all-new bamboo floors and new furniture throughout. You can hang out in the living area to read, do puzzles, or surf the internet. The living room is open to the spacious kitchen with a beautiful ocean view. The kitchen has everything you need to make classic dishes and cook fresh local seafood. Little extras like a dishwasher help save you valuable time. We provide coffee filters, basic spices, oil, etc.

For entertainment, turn on the 32" flat-screen TV in the living room to watch local channels or access the Roku for streaming on your Netflix account (Cable not provided). You can also watch one of our many movies on the DVD Player. Just off the living room is a full bathroom with a shower.

Downstairs you will find a huge bedroom with a plush king bed, a large dresser, a desk, a bookshelf full of books, and lamps on each side of the bed. Just off this bedroom is a half bath with a washer and dryer. A door off this bedroom leads you to a private, covered patio.

A few short steps from the house is a path that leads you right down to the beach. This home is perfect for a small family or couple (a maximum of two adults and one small child). We do provide a baby gate and pack n' play. No pets are allowed as this is an allergen-free home.

In the mornings, take a walk (about 1.2 miles) on the beach to Yolk for brunch or breakfast, then stop at Bahama Mama's on your way to the beach to rent some bikes to ride or boards to enjoy in the waves. Manzanita's quiet stretch of sand doesn't get the same traffic as more popular beaches nearby, so you'll enjoy the peace.

Spend a fun day golfing at Manzanita Links or a short drive south to Nehalem Bay State Park for beautiful hiking and a chance to see wildlife. For more hiking opportunities, drive north about 10 minutes to Oswald West State Park, where you'll have a variety of trails to choose from, with beautiful vistas along the way. Finish the day with a home-cooked seafood meal on the gas BBQ, or dine out at Offshore Grill or Neahkahnie Bistro.

If staying in Manzanita, there is no need for a car but if wanting to travel outside of Manzanita, we do have a public bus called "The Wave" which can take you North or South. There is info on The Wave in our rental or you can find a schedule in our office in Manzanita.

Cancellations/Super Strict 30-Day Policy and Rules: - For a 50% refund of accommodation fees, cancellation must be made 30 days before 4:00 pm of the check-in date. - Changing reservation dates is only permitted up to 45 days before arrival. All date changes are subject to a $125 fee. - If you are within 45 days of arrival, dates cannot be moved. - No refunds for a shortened stay. - If there is a complaint from your party, notice must be given within 24 hours of check-in. Good Person Policy: We kindly ask that you treat this home respectfully. Please be a good neighbor, as you are staying in a town full of long-term residents. Park on our property only unless we instruct you otherwise. Please stay within the car, and the people limit we set in our prior correspondence with you. Arrival and Departure Day: Please follow the check-in and check-out instructions on your pre-arrival that are sent via email 3 days before your stay. Furnishings: Our homes are fully furnished and include all linens, including beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, bar soap, kleenex, foil, saran wrap, salt, and pepper. Also included are essential cookware, utensils, a 12-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, propane for BBQ and firepits, etc. You must provide toiletries, napkins, and paper/picnic goods. (Please do not take bath linens down to the beach.) Check-In/Check-out: Check-in time is 4:00pm. Check-out time is 11:00am. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, we can only grant this on the day of arrival or departure based on the schedule for the house. This will only be available October-May and is subject to availability. Additional fees may apply. Please speak with your reservation specialist for details. Please check out promptly, as we must prepare the house for the next guests. Unless approved beforehand, late check-outs will be subject to a fee of $50 for every 15 minutes past check-out time. Quiet Hours: Manzanita City Ordinance states the quiet times are from 10pm to 7am. If a call is made to MBG for a noise complaint by a neighbor, you may be subject to eviction without a refund if guests do not remedy this asap. Please be courteous to your neighbors that live in the area full-time. Please be mindful of noise outside and around hot tubs, etc. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful. Thank you. Occupant and Car Parking Limits: The city ordinances dictate the occupancy and parking policies to control noise and congestion in our neighborhoods and maintain the livability of our neighborhoods. According to our city/county permits, tents are not allowed, and any trailers, RVs, or campers must not be occupied or used while parked at the homes. The occupancy limit of each home may not be exceeded at any time. This means total occupancy includes non-occupant visitors. If you anticipate visitors dropping by, we ask you to rent a larger home. Violating this rule is grounds for immediate eviction and forfeit of all rental fees. Vehicle limit for this home is 1 and the occupancy limit is 2 adults and a small child/baby. Pet Policies: This home does not allow pets. If evidence of pets is found in the house, you will be charged a fee to be determined by MBG based on damages or extra cleaning. Departure Instructions: We ask that you put all dirty laundry in a pile by the washer and start at least one load before departure. (Please start with the towels). Please start the dishwasher before departing. Remove all garbage to the outside cans provided. Please follow any other departure instructions specific to the home you rented. You will find these on the picture frame located in the house. Smoking: No homes allow smoking, including vaping or marijuana. Smoking is not allowed in or on the property at any time. If any smoking has happened on the property, a claim will be filed, and MBG will determine the cost based on cleaning charges. Minimum Stay: All homes have a two-night minimum with a few exceptions. A six-night minimum on reservations during July and August. Four-night minimum during the last two weeks of June. There is a three-night reservation minimum for Memorial weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Gaps in between stays can be reserved with approval by MBG staff. Date availability can change at any time. Refunds, Rules, and Disclaimers: No refunds will be issued due to weather, off-premise noise caused by construction near the home, or mechanical failure. We rent our vacation homes to adults only over the age of 23. No parties are allowed. Violators will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. All prices on unconfirmed reservations are subject to change without notice. Our homes are individually owned, and amenities are subject to change at any time—no refunds or discounts for appliance malfunction or amenity changes. Liability: This agreement dictates that guests or visitors of guests will not hold Manzanita Beach Getaway or any of the homeowners responsible for things such as Personal injury, death, or loss of property. Transfer: Rental reservations are non-transferable to another party.
