Manzanita Beach Getaway Lends a Helping Hand – 2022

As locals to Manzanita Beach, we take joy in being able to provide support to our local community. In the spirit of giving and supporting our local community, Manzanita Beach Getaway has donated to the following places in 2022:
Nehalem Elementary School’s Resource Center – Manzanita Beach Getaway is pleased to announce our gift of $2,000 to Nehalem Elementary School’s Resource Center. This gift was made in our homeowner’s name and is an annual event. The resource center accommodates students and families with small, urgent or confidential needs.
The Hoffman Center for the Arts – The Hoffman Center for the Arts provides immersive experiences for those interested in art and cultures of all kinds. Donations to the Hoffman Center for the Arts help provide our local community with arts and cultural programs to encourage creativity.
Lower Nehalem Community Trust – The Lower Nehalem Community Trust is a community supported, nonprofit organization dedicated to the conservation and restoration of natural lands. Donations to this organization help preserve the beautiful vistas, forests, rivers and bays that many come to experience during their Manzanita vacation.
North County Food Bank – The North County Food Bank helps families located in North Tillamook County who are in need of food and clothing assistance.
Animal Haven by the Sea – Animal Haven by the Sea is North Tillamook County’s only animal rescue. Donations made to Animal Haven by the Sea help provide support for veterinary needs, food and medical supplies, and more to support our furry friends in our community.
Emergency Volunteer Corps of Nehalem Bay (EVCNB) – EVCNB is a non-profit organization dedicated to building personal, community and regional resilience, developing programs to ensure readiness, and promoting a culture of emergency preparedness. Donations help EVCNB offer training classes, educational programs, and emergency equipment and supplies to help our community better prepare for emergencies or disasters.
New Discoveries Preschool – New Discoveries Preschool is a cooperative preschool program where kids learn through a loving and positive environment. Donations help this non-profit preschool with operational costs, swimming lessons, field trips and supplies.
Fire Mountain School – Fire Mountain School mission is to nurture each child by providing a joyful, place-based learning experience.
Mudd Nick Foundation – The Mudd Nick Foundation gives students in the community an opportunity to access to the arts and cultural activities both within their local area and beyond, participate in athletic programs, find ways to build self-esteem and self-reliance, and give them a chance to give back to their community.
Cannon Beach Academy – The Cannon Beach Academy is a tuition-free public charter school providing quality education to grade levels K-5.
Tillamook Chamber – The Tillamook Chamber assists the growth of local businesses in our community and advocates for a healthy economy and quality of life.
The Manzanita Library – The Manzanita Library provides residents with access to library materials, educational programs, and other services.
North West Dance Academy Booster Club – A Tillamook non-profit was founded by a group of dedicated parents who came together to support North West Dance Academy and its competition team.
