Director of Housekeeping F/T
Management Role: We are currently seeking a Director of Housekeeping to play a critical role in our company. This position will support our growth and ensure our vacation rental homes are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Hiring, training, and supervising housekeeping and quality checking staff, including assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and addressing employee issues.
Operations Management: Monitoring daily operations, ensuring cleanliness of all homes, and reporting issues like damage or maintenance needs.
Inventory and Ordering: Managing inventory of cleaning items, house supplies and equipment. Ensuring adequate stock levels, and overseeing the housekeeping and quality control department.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and company standards of cleanliness.
Customer Service: Addressing guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping.
Scheduling and Coordination: Managing staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage, and coordinating with other departments.
Qualifications:
- Prior hospitality management experience either in vacation rentals or hotels.
- 2+ years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing larger teams
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience: Experience is great as stated under qualifications! Equally important is attitude, willingness to learn, attention to detail, dependability, consistently following protocols, contributing ideas and an overall great attitude. Must be a positive person and one who can uplift their team. Work well with others and be organized.
Necessary Skills –
Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, guests, home owners and other departments.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time, schedules, inventory, and other resources effectively.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Knowledge of Cleaning Techniques and Equipment: Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
Compensation – Salary based position between $55,000-$65,000/year. Matching up to 3% IRA plan. Bonuses, and PTO time after 90 days of employment. Some paid holidays.
Job Type: Full Time – 40+ hours a week. Can be flexible at times with schedule but ask for flexibility in return. Weekends necessary. Summers are more demanding, winter is more relaxed. Only qualified candidates need apply.
HOUSEKEEPING
Manzanita Beach Getaway is seeking housekeeping professionals to clean our high quality homes in Manzanita Oregon. Must be hard working, have an attention to detail, be thorough and take pride in your work. We are seeking full-time and part-time as well as seasonal employment. Manzanita Beach Getaway offers great pay, flexible schedules, employee matching IRAs, PTO, employee discount, a referral program, and a great team atmosphere!
Key Responsibilities: To clean and prepare homes up to our company standard. You are never asked to rush! You never clean more than 2 homes a day at the most! Report any maintenance needed on the homes as well as making sure all linens and house supplies are kept up to standard.
Qualifications: Experience with cleaning to a higher standard preferred. Experience not necessary but MUST be organized and be able to multitask. Must take pride in appearance and be self confident and self motivated. We are really looking for someone that can take charge and be self sufficient, organized to uphold our standard of service and care.
Experience: Experience is great! Equally important is attitude, willingness to learn, attention to detail, dependability, consistently following protocols, contributing ideas and an overall great attitude. Must be a positive person and one who can uplift their team.
Necessary Skills: Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to get to work, be organized and work well with others. Must have housing in the area. Due to our housing shortage we are not interested in interviewing anyone out of the area.
Compensation: Hourly compensation,Matching IRA plan up to 3% with bonuses and vacation pay for full-time employees. Never work Christmas, Thanksgiving, July 4th. We close for these holidays.
Job Types: Part-Time or Full-Time (15-35) and seasonal.
