We love the Light House! The go to place for all of our small group retreats. Gorgeous views of NeahKahnie and Manzanita Beach. And the house is well-designed, spacious, and furnished beautifully. Can't say enough about this property. We look forward to returning in September.

The location was great. We appreciated the layout which caused us to take time away from our screens and just focus with one another. The fireplace was an unexpected joy to have during our stay. While the mattress was a little soft for my liking the home itself was perfect. We cant wait for our next stay!

We loved staying at the Seaview. We found a footpath for easy access to the beach, and spent time sitting on the deck in the morning and evening. The Seaview was the perfect size for a couple, and reasonably priced.

This house is in a great location, very walkable to the beach and town. The cottage was really nice with an amazing kitchen that was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay!

Our families loved our stay! The management company was amazing, the home has beautiful new updates, the kitchen was amazingly well organized and the needed items to cook and have lovely meals the best. Loved the proximity to town and the beach as well as to go up the Coast to Cannon as well and beaches in between. Loved, loved, loved the fire pit out back for perfect evenings. We had enough room for 2 young children, 2 small dogs, and six adults. And, the singing birds were magical and the deer too. Amazing family experience.

The beach house was lovely. The recently remodeled primary suite was fantastic and the Northern Lights projector was a fun touch. The kitchen was better stocked with spices and pantry basics than any vacation rental we've stayed at previously. Although not mentioned in the listing, it was nice to have a high chair and pack n play available (the instructions were torn but easy to find online). The home is a great location! A very short walk through the dunes to the beach and an easy walk to town either along the beach or the road. The playground on Pacific Lane is also a quick walk and was enjoyed by our family several times during our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was even better than we expected. Clean? It was SUPER clean. We felt like we could just relax. The space fit our large family (6 people) just perfectly!! The house was well appointed and very close to the beach. The host was very communicative and helpful. Check in and check out were easy and straightforward. We would definitely stay here again.

We rent from Manzanita Beach Getaway several times a year and always have a great experience with the team and the properties.

What a fabulous house! Best one yet for our annual family beach trip. It is spacious and beautifully furnished. Our group was able to spend time together with kids playing games in the dining area and adults gathered in the living room/kitchen area. The fenced yard, deck and fire pit are wonderful features and the everyone loved the basketball game and ping pong table in the garage. Perfect for a rainy day.

Beautiful home in a wonderful setting! The instructions provided ahead of time - and the responsiveness to questions - were greatly appreciated! We loved how the home came with a helpful & really thoughtful binder of great suggestions for local restaurants and activities! Thanks to the binder of ideas, we ended up visiting the Lewis & Clark National History Park (which was fantastic!). The home itself makes for a comfortable and cozy and wonderful experience - we loved the electric "fireplace," the drawer of board games for the family, the basket of DVDs (with options for the whole family)...The washer and dryer were a plus, as were the bunk beds! We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and we loved the neighborhood - evening strolls felt like nature walks given how quiet it is and how immersed in trees and foliage and flowers it is (we even saw a fox!). Our stay created really wonderful memories!

The team at MBG was wonderful! When we had a silly question, they treated it seriously. They are professional, responsive, and good humored.

I would recommend staying at Private Idaho to anyone looking for a relaxed OR coast getaway. The town of Manzanita is so lovely, and the miles of beach amazing. My family likes a low-key, non-touristy vacation. We explored a couple of neighboring towns but then were happy to quickly retreat to the lovely cottage in Manzanita. The town is so walkable that some days we did not get in the car. The beach is just a stone's throw away. The cottage is perfect - so clean, very comfortable beds, charmingly decorated. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, and plan to stay there again!
