This home is an easy walk to the beach and town. Fly kites, rent sand bikes, or bring your kiteboard and go kite surfing. Look for outdoor treasures, or relax with a good book. Downtown is just a short walk away, offering fine dining and shopping galore.
This home has a bright and sunny feel with beautiful wood floors and lots of light! The open floor plan and large windows create a spacious vibe, and the living room is relaxed and inviting! Stretch on the comfortable couch, watch the flat-screen cable TV with a DVD player, or get cozy near the gas-burning fireplace. The kitchen is perfect for preparing a fantastic meal, with stainless steel appliances and ample cupboard/counter space! There's room for six to eight people at the dining table and seating for two at the kitchen bar to share a delectable meal. Step outside onto the deck and soak up a view of the ocean while you BBQ on the gas grill.
This home features three bedrooms. The first-floor bedroom has two queen beds, a flat-screen TV, and an Xbox game system. One bedroom upstairs has a queen bed next to a full bathroom with a shower and bathtub. The primary bedroom has a king bed with access to the deck facing the ocean. The fantastic primary bathroom has a full shower and a luxurious jetted tub.
The garage even offers a ping pong table and a dart board. Bring out the beverages and put them into the mini-fridge. There are five bikes for guest use (not to be used on the beach), a couple of beach chairs, and some sand toys.
There are many things to do near this lovely house. Manzanita is an adorable coastal town with many restaurants, bars, and boutiques - tee off at Manzanita Golf Course or find your Zen at Yoga Roots Studio! With the beautiful Pacific Ocean at your fingertips, you could spend your whole day basking in the sun or enjoying the surf. Rent a standup paddleboard or kayak to ride the waves, or plan a hiking trek up Neahkahnie Mountain, offering magnificent views of Nehalem Bay!

Amazing rental! Very clean, well decorated, comfortable beds, nice amenities. the list goes on. The rental has everything you need to enjoy your stay from a well stocked kitchen to toiletries. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hair dryers and lots of bubble bath supplies were an added bonus. The house is a quick drive to the beach. (About 5 minutes) When we were there in April, Manzanita was a much quieter beach compared to Cannon Beach and Seaside, which was a bonus for our family. The house is in a great location for quick trips to the larger coastal towns but nice to come back and relax at a quieter smaller coastal town. I would highly recommend this house for your vacation rental.

This is one of the best beach vacation rentals Ive stayed in! Great layout, beautifully decorated, and a lovely ocean view from the huge windows and deck. Light filled and cozy and has just about any kitchen and bath item you could ever want! It even has ping pong and bikes in the huge garage. We loved the location - quiet and private, yet you can get to the beach easily. We would definitely stay here again!

Upon our arrival, it was immediate to me that there was great detail in attention to ensure that guests had a memorable and comfortable stay. Previous reviews noted the cleanliness of the home and well appointed kitchen and if I could give them 10 stars I would. The downstairs was perfect for our teenage boys and they enjoyed playing Xbox, table tennis and the big winner was spike ball. The mini fridge was perfect to store drinks and snacks. Upstairs, we had a pretty peek-a-boo vista of the ocean, comfy beds and linens, games, puzzles, and the spotless kitchen was immaculate with fantastic appliances. It was the small attention to detail that really made our stay so comfortable and easy. There were even GOOD spices in the cupboard and plenty of foil and ziplocks for storage. We did like the location, it was a short walk with the dog downtown or out to the 101 for surfing (we didn't mind the hills). I have already sent a link to my family and friends and would highly recommend staying at the Lookout. They make a family vacation perfect!

The house is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen is well-stocked with all of the items necessary (i.e. pots/pans, mixer, blender, etc) to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner from scratch. Walks along the beach and intense ping-pong games at the house helped mitigate the resulting excessive consumption. The host was responsive to questions and requests. A truly enjoyable time.

We loved the house and enjoyed a relaxing week away! The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking, we made full use of it and even baked cookies. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are well stocked, and there was a welcome kit for our dog. The open floor layout upstairs is perfect and we could enjoy the great views while cooking, eating, and relaxing. The deck was a great bonus on dry days, we sat our there for hours to enjoy the sun & view! This house is really wonderful!!!
