Just two blocks from the beach is where you'll find this adorable, two bedroom Manzanita vacation rental. Spend chilly coastal nights outside by the fire pit or snuggled up in front of the gas burning fireplace. If you want to head to one of Manzanita's restaurants or shops, the cute downtown area is only a 20 minute walk or less than five minutes in the car.
Featuring an open floor plan, you'll find the spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom and both bedrooms on the main floor. Skylights throughout the home let in the natural light on those beautiful summer days. One bedroom has a king bed and the other room has a queen. Warm, wood floors flow throughout the living area with plenty of comfortable seating for up to five adults and three children. The spacious and well equipped kitchen is the perfect place for those cooks in the family. Enjoy your meals at the dining room table that seats up to six plus a bar that seats two more close by. There is a felt poker table for a fun night of cards!
The full bathroom has a relaxing, jetted bath tub and shower. The tub is great after a long day on the beach. Just around the corner from the bathroom is the laundry room with washer/dryer, mud sink, beach toys and towels/sheets for the family dog.
Up the open stair case you will find the spacious loft that includes a large L-shaped couch, a few large sleeping matts for kids to use, lots of kids toys, games and a TV. Once outside, you will enjoy the many bird feeders and all the different types of birds that visit us at the Huckleberry House. The fire pit area and relaxing porch provide peaceful outdoor space for reading, family and friend circles or some quiet reflection.
Local activities include beach combing, mountain trail hiking, fishing and crabbing, kayaking, bird watching, surfing or walking around town to enjoy the wineries, restaurants, boutiques and galleries.
From winter storm watching from your cozy living room to a mojito out on the deck, this Manzanita vacation home is an ideal getaway anytime of year. Pack the car with the kids and the dog and escape to the Oregon Coast for a little beach side R&R.

I booked a long time ago. I did talk with members of the team and I remember it being a positive experience and if they couldn't answer my questions, them transferred me to the person that could. The upfront information was very good and complete so I didn't have a lot of additional questions. The checkout questions I didn't read well enough and we missed a couple steps like locking the door before we entered the check out code. We had left the house about an hour earlier before I reread the instructions and called and they said no problem.

Great house! Every inch is well used. The property is very clean and well stocked. Super comfortable and well decorated. We loved our stay and had a fire almost every night. We would definitely stay here again. It is close to the beach and not far from town if you like to walk (we do).

From Airbnb: We stayed two nights with our dog. This place is fantastic. The spacious main room/kitchen is an amazing spot to hang out for a relaxing weekend or a family week at the beach. The beds and furniture are comfortable, and the kitchen is well supplied with cooking utensils. You can walk to the beach in three minutes, and despite houses all around you still feel secludedthe outdoor porch and patio are a lovely touch. Highly recommend a stay! We'll be back.

Great staff from beginning to end. Great little house on the corner and two blocks from the beach. Loved the wood burning stove and everything we could possibly need in the kitchen was there! Thanks again Everything about this house was great! Perfect location for walking to the beach. House was just the right size for us and had a great charm about it. Being able to bring my son's dog was the best. He is a city dog and had never seen the beach nor been able to just run. He was so happy! The only negative was that there weren't any brushes or sponges for cleaning the dishes before putting them into the dishwasher. If that's the worst problem, I will take it! Thank you for a great experience..

Mu husband and I stayed at Huckleberry House in Manzanita for 9 nights over the 2017 Christmas holiday. Overall, we found it to be very clean, modern and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy and prompt. The location is in a wooded area near the State Park about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The wildlife viewing was fantastic during our stay! There are several bird feeders on the property that local birds and squirrels frequent. We saw two deer eat berries from a bush on the property at dusk on Christmas and twice we saw large numbers of Elk roaming through the town. The house itself has an open floor plan with plenty of natural lighting from the skylights. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils (and spices) for those who enjoy cooking. One reason we chose this home was because of the King sized bed, which not many in this price range have. We didn't use the second bedroom, but there is plenty of space for a group of 4 to 5 people with the two bedrooms and loft. The house was also stocked with helpful items such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent. We did not have any issues with the WiFi connections and found the technology in the house (smart TV, blu ray player, etc) to be up to date. We would recommend this property to others and would return to stay there ourselves.
