Just two blocks from the beach is where you'll find this adorable, two bedroom Manzanita vacation rental. Spend chilly coastal nights outside by the fire pit or snuggled up in front of the gas burning fireplace. If you want to head to one of Manzanita's restaurants or shops, the cute downtown area is only a 20 minute walk or less than five minutes in the car.
Featuring an open floor plan, you'll find the spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom and both bedrooms on the main floor. Skylights throughout the home let in the natural light on those beautiful summer days. One bedroom has a king bed and the other room has a queen. Warm, wood floors flow throughout the living area with plenty of comfortable seating for up to five adults and three children. The spacious and well equipped kitchen is the perfect place for those cooks in the family. Enjoy your meals at the dining room table that seats up to six plus a bar that seats two more close by. There is a felt poker table for a fun night of cards!
The full bathroom has a relaxing, jetted bath tub and shower. The tub is great after a long day on the beach. Just around the corner from the bathroom is the laundry room with washer/dryer, mud sink, beach toys and towels/sheets for the family dog.
Up the open stair case you will find the spacious loft that includes a large L-shaped couch, a few large sleeping matts for kids to use, lots of kids toys, games and a TV. Once outside, you will enjoy the many bird feeders and all the different types of birds that visit us at the Huckleberry House. The fire pit area and relaxing porch provide peaceful outdoor space for reading, family and friend circles or some quiet reflection.
Local activities include beach combing, mountain trail hiking, fishing and crabbing, kayaking, bird watching, surfing or walking around town to enjoy the wineries, restaurants, boutiques and galleries.
From winter storm watching from your cozy living room to a mojito out on the deck, this Manzanita vacation home is an ideal getaway anytime of year. Pack the car with the kids and the dog and escape to the Oregon Coast for a little beach side R&R.

Super clean, 2 blocks from the beach, great open floor plan so we could all hang out together. Beds were comfortable and the jetted tub is great. The outdoor space is cute and looks great for a bbq in warmer weather.

From the sparkling clean everything to the comfy beds, we were so pleased with the Huckleberry House. Everything was new and worked great. The design of the building provided beautiful light from dawn until dusk and the high ceilings felt so roomy. The back porch area was lovely, private enough, woodsy and alive with SO many birds and squirrels. We sat in the sun in the morning and enjoyed the show the critters put on for us. There were lots of towels and sheets for the dog that kept the floors and furniture clean. And they even left me a birthday card on the kitchen table for when we arrived. We'll be back for sure.

A perfect house for a quiet getaway. A short walk to the beach everyday where the sunsets were unreal and short drive into Manzanita center of town. There is also a small and pretty private garden area for outdoor fire pit, and a cozy loft for movies, and reading. This place was great! Bonus, the tub has jets! We saw deer in the morning which was a wonderful surprise as your are surrounded with lush forest and this place comes with all things for your pup, including towels, bowls and potty bags, which was appreciated! There is also a lot of natural light as there are windows in the vaulted ceilings. I would definitely stay again.

The house was sparkling clean and a lovely place to stay, close to the park trails and a stroll to the ocean. Loved being able to crash on the large couch upstairs and read, or do yoga under the skylights. The jetted tub was another incredible feature we enjoyed. And the birds and birdhouses! They were so entertaining, so lovely. We look forward to having an opportunity staying there again.

This house was incredibly cozy and a perfect spot for a weekend retreat. The design of the house is so open and inviting, and even though it's a small cottage, it feels expansive with the high ceilings, the beautiful skylights, and the lovely loft. The tub is an amazing luxury for this beach cottage. The location is a bit out of the way and feels remote, in a good way, and the walk to the beach is close enough but also a great distance for a good stroll. We will be back, for sure.

The Huckleberry House offered everything needed for a relaxing and super comfortable Manzanita visit. We never once needed to use our car because of the close proximity to the beach, the state park trails, and to town. Love that!! There are many, but perhaps my favorite feature was how COMFORTABLE the Huckleberry House is. Every piece of furniture and the beds are curl-up cozy -- perfect for an Autumn visit to the Oregon coast.

From Airbnb: We really enjoyed our stay, especially being a 5 - 10 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed watching the birds from the back porch and thought the living room was really comfortable. The place was very clean and hosts provided clear instructions for checking-in and checking-out. We were about a 5 - 10 minute drive to nearby hikes, and about a 20 - 30 minute walk to town. Highly recommended!
