Just two blocks from the beach is where you'll find this adorable, two bedroom Manzanita vacation rental. Spend chilly coastal nights outside by the fire pit or snuggled up in front of the gas burning fireplace. If you want to head to one of Manzanita's restaurants or shops, the cute downtown area is only a 20 minute walk or less than five minutes in the car.
Featuring an open floor plan, you'll find the spacious living room, kitchen, bathroom and both bedrooms on the main floor. Skylights throughout the home let in the natural light on those beautiful summer days. One bedroom has a king bed and the other room has a queen. Warm, wood floors flow throughout the living area with plenty of comfortable seating for up to five adults and three children. The spacious and well equipped kitchen is the perfect place for those cooks in the family. Enjoy your meals at the dining room table that seats up to six plus a bar that seats two more close by. There is a felt poker table for a fun night of cards!
The full bathroom has a relaxing, jetted bath tub and shower. The tub is great after a long day on the beach. Just around the corner from the bathroom is the laundry room with washer/dryer, mud sink, beach toys and towels/sheets for the family dog.
Up the open stair case you will find the spacious loft that includes a large L-shaped couch, a few large sleeping matts for kids to use, lots of kids toys, games and a TV. Once outside, you will enjoy the many bird feeders and all the different types of birds that visit us at the Huckleberry House. The fire pit area and relaxing porch provide peaceful outdoor space for reading, family and friend circles or some quiet reflection.
Local activities include beach combing, mountain trail hiking, fishing and crabbing, kayaking, bird watching, surfing or walking around town to enjoy the wineries, restaurants, boutiques and galleries.
From winter storm watching from your cozy living room to a mojito out on the deck, this Manzanita vacation home is an ideal getaway anytime of year. Pack the car with the kids and the dog and escape to the Oregon Coast for a little beach side R&R.

We spent a lovely long weekend at Huckleberry House! The accommodation had everything we needed and made our getaway a breeze. Check-in and check-out was seamless. Rain or shine, the home provides a great basecamp for visitors who want to visit the beach (with or without their canine companion) but skip the campsite in favor of a cozy place with all the creature comforts.

She's a pleasure to work with. The overall correspondence with Manzanita Beach Getaways (reminders, rules, etc) is very clear.

This year was a hiking theme for an annual friends trip. We did four days of 8-10 mile hikes in the beautiful forest, beach and nature reserve areas around Manzanita. The Huckleberry House was the perfect location and comfortable space to rest and rejuvenate at the end of each day, cooking up great meals and laughing (all after a glass of wine at the beach!). The space has a 'retreat' atmosphere that allows an escape from the worries of the pandemic.

Wow! We made a last minute booking after our previous accommodations fell through, and we felt SO lucky this Airbnb was available. It was the perfect layout for a family vacation -- the large common areas and outdoor space were wonderful. We were surprised to find it a short 3 block walk to the beach (and the golfers in our family appreciated the proximity to Manzanita Links). Truly, everything was thought of with this Airbnb, including entertainment for little ones! (Though note we didn't realize we had to bring our own shampoo, etc. so had to make a quick trip to the grocery after arrival -- pro tip for the next guests!) We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely plan to return.
