Forest Haven is a gorgeous two-level, 2,500-square-foot home on a quiet, dead-end street in beautiful Manzanita, Oregon. It is the perfect retreat for those wishing for solitude but not overly remote. A short 3-minute stroll down the road puts you at the picturesque beach or in Manzanita's charming town. Every detail has been carefully crafted to create a relaxing, family-friendly vacation.
Enjoy abundant light and a sleek open floor plan, with the home's main level being an ideal place for entertaining friends and family. The living room offers an enjoyable space with multiple couches. Sink into the comfortable living room furnishings while watching movies on the 52-inch LED flatscreen TV. Browse through the DVD collection and pop in a movie for ample entertainment. For the chefs in your group, the thoroughly equipped kitchen and large island is a dream come true. This kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials and more. The bar seats two, and the dining table can seat up to 8 people.
The spacious primary bedroom has a plush king bed, a walk-in closet (that can be used as a nursery room, big enough for a pack n' play), and a full en-suite bathroom. Across the hallway is the second bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom nearby.
Next to the living room is a family room with a game/puzzle table and a kitchenette stocked with extra dishes, a coffee maker, and more! Nearby are another queen bedroom and a bedroom with two twin beds. There is a full bathroom with a tub/shower nearby.
Maximize the family fun in the upstairs game area by playing a game of pool on the vintage pool table. Lounge on the vintage furniture, read a great book, or even use the full-size futon for afternoon naps. Inside the garage is a wagon to haul your items down to the beach. The garage is for renter use and houses the second fridge/freezer.
The large front deck makes an excellent place for barbecuing, lounging in the sun, and enjoying time with friends and family.

Highly recommend this place for families or groups! We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway from Portland and it was perfect! The house is centrally located, easy to walk to shops, restaurants, coffee, and the grocery store. Its also 2 blocks from the beach. They have a great wagon with beach toys in the garage and plenty of beach towels. The porch is amazing all day long if your lucky to get a sunny day (which we were). The house is also divided into two sections with a small kitchenette in one, so it would be great for 2 families. That separation was really nice since my kids are early risers. I also loved that each room had a box fan, great for white noise. Cant wait to come back!

I rented the Forest Haven house to celebrate my 65th birthday and retirement. Upon arrival to the house, I was greeted with a birthday/retirement card and bottle of wine for my celebration. What a great way to make renters feel welcomed. This extra touch of customer service certainly will retain my desire to rent again.

Great place only 2 blocks from the beach. Place is very spacious and as described. Located in a cozy beach town with a few coffee shops and restaurants, so perfect for walking to dinner or for coffee. The beach is expansive, and the state park is also walking distance (30min). Easy drive to Cannon beach and other locations without feeling like you're living in a very crowded beach town. Really loved it there and would go back

This was a wonderful place for our small team retreat. The large open living space allowed us to work, bond, do yoga, and relax together. The rooms were very comfortable. The proximity to the beach and shopping was a huge bonus for our team as well.

This house was the perfect stay for us while we took a break from Portland life with the kids for a few days. The house is so close to the Main Street in Manzanita that we didnt use the car the entire time we stayed there. The house has wonderful natural lighting with a lot of tall glass windows. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials and there were plenty of pillows and covers for all the kids in our family. The outdoor porch area was so nice for meal times when the sun was out (they even have an outdoor umbrella). We played pool upstairs in the evenings and there were fun board games there that we hadnt played before. It was great not to have to bring a wagon, games and sand toys since the house had it all. We took the pull wagon out with the kids in the evenings and they had a great time. Everything jn the house is well labeled, even the switches and items that belong to the rental. This was very helpful when trying to locate which light turned on what items belonged to us upon departure. The host was amazingly helpful and super easy to contact when I reached out inquiring about having a pack n play. It was set up for us when we got there and it made the trip so easy. The house was super clean and felt like home from day one. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic spot just a few minutes' walk to the beach and town. Plenty of space for our family - it was wonderful to have so many bedrooms and bathrooms and the smaller secondary kitchen area was a nice surprise. The house had everything we needed and more. Would definitely return!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Forest Haven. The hosts have been very responsive and timely in our communication. The Manzanita Beach house is located a short walk from the beach. A wagon is provided with 5 beach chairs and toys to easily carry things to the beach. The house layout is very functional, super clean and in a quiet setting. The king bed masted bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. There are 2 additional bathrooms serving the remaining 3 bedrooms. We highly recommend Forest Haven and are thinking to come again.

We had everything we needed. Enjoyed the pool table and the use of the garage was appreciated. The location was great. The windows and deck are situated to where there is plenty of light. The house is at the end of a short dead-end road where it is very quiet with trees and bushes that must help attract lots of birds. It was fun for us to watch what seemed to be a flock of cedar waxwings, flickers feeding on the ground nearby, goldfinches and a number of other birds. The ocean view was barely there but we could hear the ocean. It was a hop skip and a jump both to the beach and to downtown.

We just finished our stay here and would highly recommend it. A smooth process start to finish and a great place within just a few short minutes to town and the beach. The house had plenty of space and was extremely clean. Impressed by the quality of linens, towels, pillows, and more. Loved the wagon for lugging chairs and firewood to the beach. Grateful for the high chairs and pack and play to lighten our packing. Thank you so much!
