Welcome to Fly Away Home. This charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is nestled in the trees and located in the desirable area of Manzanita, Oregon. The home is a short 5-block walk to the beach and steps to Laneda Avenue's vibrant shops, restaurants, coffee houses, wine bars, galleries, grocery, natural food stores, and the Hoffman Center for the Arts.
Inside the home, you will find vaulted ceilings, large windows, and natural light throughout. You can cuddle up in front of the woodstove in the living room and visit or enjoy a movie on the flat-screen smart TV with cable. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to prepare each meal. The dining area has a large table and a long, cushioned window seat - perfect for reading on a rainy day or hanging out with the cooks in the group.
Upstairs are two Queen bedrooms with high ceilings and tall windows. The main bedroom has an ensuite full bath. Another full bathroom is just down the hall. Downstairs, a cozy bedroom with two twin beds and a built-in desk can serve as a workspace/home office and gives kids their own space.
This cedar-sided home is surrounded by tall trees, offering a forest feel, lovely birdsong, and a sense of privacy while being close to the "downtown." A sliding glass door in the living room leads you to a large, two-level deck with multiple seating areas. The upper deck contains a propane grill covered by a glass gable, providing a light-filled space sheltered from the rain. The large lower deck is open, with a picnic table and chairs.

My family has been coming to the Oregon Coast for 30+ years, and we love Manzanita. We are so glad to have discovered this wonderful, friendly, LOCAL rental company, as we got burned by the monopoly rental company in the area and werent sure if wed ever find a rental that wasnt run by them. I cant speak highly enough about the folks running Manzanita Beach Getaways. They are super responsive and kind and we plan to only rent from them from now on! The house was beautiful: extremely comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed. We loved our 2-week staythank you!

A very attractive, modernized place on a quiet street but within walking distance to shops and the beach in Manzanita. The place is bright and airy, with comfortable furniture and beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Instructions for getting in were very clear. The weather wasn't great during our stay but the outdoor space looks terrific for nicer weather. Would definitely stay again.

This house is in an ideal location if you are looking to be walking distance from town, the grocery store, and the beach! We were grateful to have a well stocked kitchen that made cooking at the house enjoyable, and a spot to keep our bikes in the garage.

We've been staying at Fly Away Home for almost 20 years, through 2 previous rental companies. It's like a 2nd home for our girls trips. The proximity to downtown ManZan is great, we love the town. In the house we have everything we need for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
We really appreciate the new towels, shelf and towel hooks in the bathrooms and the additional table/chairs out on the deck. The addition of artwork on the walls make it even more homey.

Absolutely gorgeous place with plenty of amenities. You cant beat the location if youre staying on the coast! Just a quick walk away from the beach as well as plenty of wonderful dining options. Make sure you check out Yolk for a fantastic brunch! Its right around the block!

Very nice little house with an exceptionally nice deck on the back among the trees. Manzanita is one of those small beach towns down a bit from the highway, a wold to itself. On weekends when its open... try out the Yolk restaurant very close to the house and the coffee bar daily across the street. And the beach is of course wonderful, huge long and very 'Oregon Coast' where one can get lost in thoughts with the grand Pacific sound always everywhere around. The house is well managed and I do some prop. management myself.

We absolutely loved the house! Perfect location and with all the amenities we needed for a special family get-together! The deck was ideal for meals outside and enjoying the weather. The bench seat in the kitchen had wonderful views of outside and also was great for visiting while preparing meals. We will gladly stay there again in the future if we have the chance!

Great house, super clean, great location! The deck is massive and we wouldve used it more if it wasnt for the rain. You can walk to everything Manzanita has to offer.. The grocery store is only a block and a half away. Main street is another block and the beach is only about five minutes away. You can hear the waves from the house! Super quiet neighborhood as well. Would highly recommend.
