Coastal View is a magnificent four-bedroom, three-bath home situated less than two blocks from the beach in Neahkahnie (North Manzanita). Look no further if you're looking for a home that can offer views, comfort, beauty, and convenience. We guarantee that you will want to come back time and time again.
Surrounded by tall windows that look through the trees to the ocean, the home offers incredible ocean views. A wrap-around deck provides ample outdoor space for barbecuing, reading a book, or relaxing. The open layout of the living area makes entertaining a breeze. You will find that the kitchen is spacious and stocked with everything you need to make wonderful meals. The dining room table seats six, and the bar in the kitchen can seat four more. A large and comfortable "L" shaped couch is a cozy place to snuggle up in the evening and watch a movie on the large flat-screen TV while enjoying the natural stone and gas fireplace.
The main level features two good size bedrooms. The main bedroom is spacious, with a comfortable king bed and an attached spa-like bathroom with a large jetted tub that would be perfect after a long day at the beach. The walk-in shower and double vanities are a bonus. The second bedroom down the hall has a beautiful queen bed and a big window for natural light. A full bath with a walk-in shower is in the hall just to the right of this bedroom.
The two remaining bedrooms, one bathroom, and a laundry room are downstairs. One bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds and a queen bed perfect for kids or teens. This room has a bookshelf full of books and a TV for entertainment. The bedroom down the hall has a queen bed well spaced from the kid's bunk room for peace and quiet. These two downstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub and shower. There is also a laundry room with a mud sink to wash off sandy clothes.
The house has WiFi and cable and lots of games, puzzles, movies, etc. Coastal View sleeps ten people in beds but has a 12 occupancy limit (maximum ten adults). Stay at this beautiful home and enjoy the ocean views!

We so enjoyed our stay with our children and grandchildren at the manzanita property. It was very comfortable for six adults and four children (ages 8 months to 14 yrs.). We ate most meals in house and the kitchen was well equipped and spacious for meal prep. We had a lovely view from the living area and deck. Bedrooms were a good size.

This is a great place to relax and make yourself home while enjoying the beauty of Manzanita, the ocean, and Neahkahnie Mountain. It's also a perfect base for visiting many of the other small beach communities along the coast. The house is well situated, with close access to the beach and town, as well as a great view of the ocean and Neahkahnie Mountain. The house itself is very well equipped and very comfortable.

I requested 2 high chairs shortly after making my reservation and was told you only had one because one had broken, and I was told to call again before check in to make sure we could have two, but was told you still only had one! That was the only downside to this rental property.

We appreciate being able to access this house. It's comfortable, well equipped, and very close to the beach.
The property is in a great location. The house itself is accessible from two levels which makes entry for "seniors" easy. The house is well equipped and furnished, and was very clean when we arrived.
We did notice that time is taking its toll: the deck is splintering in spots due to weathering and walking barefoot is not advised. Some of the kitchen equipment (pots and skillets) seem old and should be replaced. The Master bathroom could use some attention to discoloration around the window in the shower and new sealant at the bottom of the shower enclosure on the outside of the shower. Fwiw, the heaters make a lot of racket for light sleepers.The Bar B Q also needs replacement (we looked at it and did not use it).

We've stayed in Cannon Beach, Arch Cape, Rockaway Beach, Pacific City, Bandon, and Gold Beach and this house in Manzanita is our favorite. It is well priced too. This was a wonderful home! My mother, who has mobility challenges and is reliant upon a wheelchair, was able to enjoy this home as there are no steps between the upper entrance and any of the living spaces/2 of the bedrooms. The management company had sufficient communication and the house was perfectly maintained and had a better appointed kitchen than expected.

One note: its a dog friendly property which I appreciate since we brought dogs...there was a mild dog smell, especially in the downstairs hallway, which could turn some renters off. Our guests, who are not dog owners, didn't notice it, so maybe it isn't as strong as I thought...

I jokingly said on the sheet I filled out at the house that the only condiment missing was salt! It was missing, but just about every other condiment was there!! Best stocked kitchen ever in a rental house. The only thing that went wonky was trying to play a DVD in the living room. We are all technically proficient, but something is not right with the remote as far as DVD's go..so that was about the only thing that we think needs looking after. The house was perfect...
