Description
Settle in for an unforgettable beach vacation in the Beach Cabin. Just blocks to town and the beach, Beach Cabin is surrounded by the tall Pine and Alder trees of Manzanita, Oregon. This unique lot is excellent for kids to explore. The southwest-facing deck is ideal for sunbathing, reading a great book, or barbecuing with family and friends.
The house is inviting with large windows and an open kitchen, dining, and living room making entertaining a breeze. In the king master bedroom, there is a 36" flat-screen TV. Attached to the bedroom is a bathroom with a walk-in shower with three showerheads. Across the hall from the master is a spacious bedroom with a queen bed. Near the bedrooms, there is a hall bathroom with a shower and a washer and dryer. The third bedroom with an attached half bathroom is located on the lower level. This bedroom is spacious with a queen bed. The access is outside off the deck, making this room great for teens or as a mother-in-law suite. The lower deck has a hot and cold outdoor shower for use after a long day at the beach.
The open living room invites you in with high ceilings, windows, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace (firewood included). The 46" flat-screen TV with a Blu-ray player and cable are great for movie watching. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area, and the large, wall to wall windows bring the gorgeous outdoor scenery inside. The bright and roomy kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with everything you will need during your stay.
Outside the living area, you get a chance to catch some fresh air on the upper deck. A BBQ with propane included sits alongside many chairs, giving you room to create a Seafood feast with your group. Beach Cabin is not a pet-friendly property. Located close to town and the beach, this home is the perfect family or group vacation rental!

The stay was pleasant but my frustration
Was that when I inquired two months before arriving as to which home I had rented, I was told the wrong one. I had expectations of staying in Seas the Day and we ended up in Beach Cabin. I was told this was because of the website I signed up on but emailed on a different site.
MANZANITA BEACH GETAWAY RESPONSE:
Sheri was eventually understanding and great to talk too, when dealing with the mix up. Her situation was very unique, she personally selected and booked Beach Cabin via our website, also inputting her email address incorrectly so she did not receive her confirmation. She chose to communicate with us through VRBO, another site we list our properties. The confusion on both ends came from Sheri choosing to reach out to us via VRBO on a different property than she originally booked. We were grateful she called us to discuss the situation so we could help her understand the process of booking a home with Manzanita Beach Getaway. We'd be happy to have her back!

We were two adult couples on a Christmas getaway and this house was even more wonderful than we expected. High ceilings, windows on all sides, a lovely deck, a big and easy-to-collaborate-in kitchen, comfy and spacious living room area. We cooked (love the fiesta ware), we watched movies (including a few of the ones provided), we walked down to the beach, and comfortably slept each night in the two upstairs bedrooms. (We also became so attached to the taxidermy, we gave them each names.) It was perfect, and we'd do it again.
